I have been in the mood for fantasy and urban fantasy reads lately and when Leslie from Leslie's Psyche reviewed Nightlife by Rob Thurman, I knew I found a new series to start :) This series caught my attention at the bookstore (it has such nice covers) while I was browsing for urban fantasy reads and I came close to buy it several times (actually thought I already did ^_^ )… but the deterrent was the belief that Rob Thurman was a male author. ![]() ![]() ![]() I could go on and on about how you should go out and get the entire series, but if you are a fan of not only excellent writing, narration, character & environmental development, and a storyline that make you feel like you are right there, a part of the action as well as the emotions, or if you just really like audiobooks, then as as fellow fan, I very strongly suggest that you start from year 1 in the series and have at it. it literally sucks you in, makes you almost emotionally attached to the characters.
